Good microwave
Good, attractive microwave that fit the spot needed and does what it is supposed to do!

Went dead after 2 months.....
Was pleased when it first arrived. Looked nice and updated. Seemed to work well, wwent dead after 3 months...Very dissapointed!

First Glance, Good Stuff
Just bought this microwave at a local vendor. Its design seems very sturdy

relative to some of the new Sharp microwaves which as another reviewer stated, have their front "windows" covered by a plastic that brings to mind plastic not dissimilar from plastic water bottles. The SANYO has a glass front.

It also seems to heat relatively evenly (relative to our last two microwaves, which died, and the ones I use at work). It's fast and seems to work well.

Not thrilled
The interior could be a little bigger. Can't fit a large dinner plate. Control panel is hard to read.

Just What I Needed!
I'm very pleased with this product. It's just big enough for everything I need (fits a full sized dinner plate), and yet has a very small "footprint". The turntable works well, and is hard to find on such a small microwave. 800 Watts rather than the typical 700 Watts is nice for such a small unit - plenty of power. I also like that it does not have a push-button door opener - I've never found those to be easy to use. This unit does an excellent job, in a small space, and at a good price.

Same as Dacor
Our Dacor microwave of 9 years had rusted out inside on the back wall. Since the unit was a built in, the only microwave that would fit was the same model from Dacor. In checking on replacing the Dacor I found the least expensive price to be $535.00 before shipping. During a chance conversation with an appliance repair person, he told me that Sharp manufactured the Dacor and might be cheaper! I check the Sharp models and found the R-530ES to be identicle to the Dacor with different badging.

We purchased the Sharp R-530ES for only $306.00 delivered.



The Sharp mirowave performs identicle to the Dacor. We are extremely pleased with the unit. It actually has more features than are old Dacor.

nice microwave
I'm a fan of Sharp microwaves. This is my third one. I got my first in 1988, it lasted until 1999. I got my second in 1999 and it lasted until 2009. I expect my next microwave review to take place in 2019.



This microwave has plenty of power to heat quickly, yet the sensor reheat function is fantastic. Put in a plate or a bowl, hit sensor reheat and voila! perfectly heated food. I didn't expect this feature to work so well, but i find i use it all the time. Aside from that, it's easy to clean and pretty quiet. I'm not a fan of handles on microwaves so I'll recommend it as easy to clean as well.

Poor choice
This is the third Sharp microwave (all this model) that I have purchased.

The ONLY reason I have done this is that I have a built-in kit above a stove unit that only fits thus particular microwave unit. Don't buy one.

Suddenly stopped working after 3 years
I bought this item on Oct 1st 2003. It worked well no problems until Nov 1st 2006. All of a sudden it stopped working, it is not getting power. I checked in different outlets and no luck. To think it was gone by power surge, everything else was working fine.

Bad Purchase, Stops working, Panasonic customer service sucks
I am highly dissatisfied with this microwave. Twice it has stopped working. First time was just four months after the purchase. We got it fixed from the Panasonic repair shop but it has stopped working again just two months after the purchase. Now it has been out of order for more than a month. I sent emails to Panasonic but they never responded. All this when the product is still under warranty period. I sincerely believe that Panasonic should have replaced my microwave after it stopped working the second time. This is not the only Panasonic product that I am unhappy with. I had bought a TV-DVD combo from Panasonic in Oct. 2004, its DVD player has not been working for past three months.

17 months old does work anymore
Bought on January 28, 2004 it worked well heated well BUT NOW June 28, 2005 doesnt work anymore. I'm now looking for the warranty. Hopefully its not over $50.00 down the drain. IT SHOULD HAVE WORKED FOR AT LEAST 4-5 years.

Event Horizon

เรื่องย่อ Event Horizon ผ่านรกสุดขอบฟ้า

Event Horizon เป็นภาพยนตร์ไซไฟอวกาศที่เข้าฉายในปี 2007 ซึ่งมีเนื้อเรื่องที่นำเสนอบรรยากาศใกล้เคียงกับ Dead Space มาก เนื้อเรื่องก็มีอยู่ว่า…

ในปี ค.ศ. 2047 โลกได้รับสัญญาณจากยาน Event Horizon ซึ่งหายสาบสูญไปในปี 2040 ยานกลับมาปรากฏตัวอีกครั้งรอบวงโคจรดาวเนปจูน… และอีกไม่นานจะร่วงลงสู่ดาว ยาน Lewis and Clark ถูกส่งไปสำรวจโดยมี Dr. William Weir ผู้ออกแบบยานติดสอยห้อยตามไปด้วย

เมื่อมาถึง Dr. William ก็เฉลยความจริงกับลูกเรือว่ายาน Event Horizon จริงๆ แล้วเป็นยานทดสอบระบบขับเคลื่อนยานแบบลับสุดยอด ระบบนี้จะสร้างหลุมดำที่เชื่อมต่อจุดสองจุดในอวกาศเพื่อย่นระยะเวลาการเดิน ทาง ระบบไม่ได้ทำงานตามที่คาด ยานหายสาบสูญ ส่วนสัญญาณที่พวกเขาได้รับหลังจากยานปรากฏตัวก็มีค่อยชัด แต่คาดว่าเป็นภาษาลาตินว่า “ช่วยปลดปล่อยฉัน”

หลังจากสำรวจไปเรื่อยๆ ทีมงานก็พอความจริงว่า Event Horizon ได้หลุดออกไปยังมิติอื่น มิตินั้นเป็นมิติแห่ง ”ความยุ่งเหยิง” และ “ความชั่วร้าย” ลูกเรือ Event Horizon ถูกสิงจนฆ่ากันเอง ส่วนข้อความที่กัปตันส่งมานั้นจริงๆ แล้วเป็นประโยคว่า “ช่วยปลดปล่อยตัวคุณให้พ้นจากนรก” ซึ่ง Event Horizon นั้นถูก “สิ่งชั่วร้าย” สิงโดยมีเป้าหมายคือการเดินทางกลับไปยังอีกมิติ
